Rüdesheim, Germany
The Rhine Valley
|
Boosenburg
Castle was built in the 10th, 11th, or 12th century as the residence
of the Foxes of Rüdesheim, a noble family, and passed on
to the counts of the Boos von Waldeck family in 1474 and to
the counts of the von Schünborn-Wiesentheid family in 1830.
Vineyards in the area produce some of the most noted Rhine wines,
and Rüdesheim is the center of the region's wine trade.

As you would easily guess, this is far from a complete list
of wine producing countries and the vineyards there within.
This section will be continually expanded as information becomes
available. It is our intention to link as many wineries and
vineyards to this section of our web-site so as to provide you
with an easily accessible directory
encompassing all regions of the world.
